He has also undertaken a 'critical friend review' for another of the UK's major energy companies to see if they have embedded TCF and a similar exercise for one of the big water companies.

He is a Non-Executive Director of Banking Competition Remedies Ltd and Chair of its Audit Committee. He also Chairs the Advisory Board of the Transparency Task Force and is a special advisor to The Family Building Society on Conduct Risk issues.

He provides advice to major high street banks and other financial institutions wishing to meet their regulatory obligations under Conduct Risk and, as the Energy and Water regulators move to principles based regulation, he also provides advice to firms in these sectors.

He has just given an hour long presentation to the Board of Lloyds Bank on the future of consumer regulation.
